Sixteen year old Paul Bowden from CBS, Thurles, Co Tipperary has won Agri Aware’s Green Dragon Innovation Challenge 2010 for his ‘One-hand Reel’.

Second and third level students across the country are being offered the chance to win a trip of a lifetime to Ethiopia by Dublin based charity Vita.

Students from across Ireland have been competing in the regional finals of SchoolBots 2009, a computer programming competition for post primary.

Six students have been selected to represent Ireland at the 2008 International Junior Science Olympiad in Korea on 7-16 December 2008.

BT is encouraging students across Ireland to start working on their entries and be in with a chance to secure one of 100 coveted awards.

This competition, organised by the European Commission, is specifically geared towards 17-year-olds who are interested in a career in translation.
