BT has announced it will continue to organise and sponsor Young Scientist Exhibition for a further three years and has pledged €2m for the period.

Six students have been selected to represent Ireland at the 2008 International Junior Science Olympiad in Korea on 7-16 December 2008.

BT is encouraging students across Ireland to start working on their entries and be in with a chance to secure one of 100 coveted awards.

This competition, organised by the European Commission, is specifically geared towards 17-year-olds who are interested in a career in translation.
