Raidió Rí-Rá seeks volunteers for street-teams

If you are energetic, enthusiastic, have fluent Irish and a few hours a week to spare during March, Raidió Rí-Rá invites you to be part of its street-teams.

Raidió Rí-Rá is Ireland’s only all-Irish chart-station for young people and is normally available online at www.rrr.ie.

However, during the month of March the station will broadcast live in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick (Dublin on 100.3 FM, Cork on 106.7 FM, Galway on 99.1 FM, Limerick on 105.5 FM).

In addition, it will send street-teams into schools in these cities, to chat with pupils in Irish and to organise quizzes with small prizes. Some lucky students will get a chance to talk live on air to Rí-Rá presenters in the studio.

Raidió Rí-Rá is now looking for volunteers to join the street teams and help promote Irish by visiting a maximum of five local schools and get the fun going as gaeilge.

All prizes and materials for quizzes will be provided by Raidió Rí-Rá.

If you would like to be part of this project with Raidió Rí-Rá, please contact Clare Lanigan at clare@rrr.ie or phone 01- 6611999.
