Online Spring CPD Courses
Hibernia College is launching a suite of Online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses for teachers, commencing on February 1.
Each course consists of 5 lessons and provides for 20 hours of study. Courses are completed entirely online through downloadable course material with facilitated, online discussion forums. Each course is fully up to date and comes with lots of guidance and practical advice for the primary classroom.
The 10 courses available this spring are:
- Health, Stress and Coping
- Religions of the World
- Drama and Inclusion of Pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Realistic Differentiation in the Curriculum
- Autism: Promoting the Social Communication Skills of Pupils with ASDs
- Creating a Culture of Support for Special Educational Needs
- Maths: Strategies for Teaching Mathematics in the Primary School
- Infant Education: Literacy Across the Curriculum in Infants
- Leadership for the Primary School Principal
- Educational Technology: Practical Applications for the Classroom
Courses are available to purchase now and will be available to complete from February 1 until April 30, with a recommended completion time of two weeks. (Teachers should note that as per Department of Education and Science guidelines, extra personal vacation days are not available for these courses).
